When colors tell stories. There’s a reason my first major exhibition is happening right here – in the heart of El Cabanyal, where the vibrant sky meets historic facades. I’m drawn to the transition from day to night – those in-between moments bring me peace and connect me to something larger than myself.

Each of the two parts of this exhibition is inspired by a different facet of Valencia’s vibrant character  – a celebration of color, light, and the rhythm of nature in this beautiful city.

Meet the Artist – Visiting Hours

Besides the opening night, I’ll also be present for casual Meet the Artist moments and gallery walks on most weekends throughout the exhibition.

Fridays – Meet & Greet
🕗 8:15 – 9:00 p.m.

Saturdays – Guided Gallery Walks
🕙 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. → Tour in English
🕚 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. → Tour in Spanish

🗓️ Note: I won’t be present on the weekend of September 19 & 20.

The Charm of the City

The entrance area welcomes you with semi-realistic scenes of Valencia – golden sunrises, shifting light, and rooftops glowing in the morning warmth. These works pay homage to El Cabanyal and the nearby coastline, blending architecture and atmosphere into quiet, glowing moments.

Colorful Valencia – Nature in Layers

In the smaller gallery, abstract and layered mixed-media paintings unfold the beauty of Valencia’s natural surroundings like animals, plants, textures, and light. These mixed-media works range from semi-realistic to abstract and are created with layers of acrylics, sand, collage, oils, and gold.

I’ve been amazed upon arrival in 2019 by this beautiful City and its Sunrises. Since 2025 I‘m painting in my little studio in El Cabanyal. Valencia inspires me daily, and this show feels like a heartfelt tribute to the colors and calm I’ve found here.
