Bee Vibrant at Lienzo – When Art Meets Haute Cuisine

Bee Vibrant at Lienzo – When Art Meets Haute Cuisine

A dialogue between colors, flavors, and the poetry of nature

While creating the Bee Vibrant collection, I found myself diving deep into the fascinating world of pollination, biodiversity, and sustainability. My studio became filled with their energy: golden tones, honeycomb structures, and layers of luminous color that reflected the fragile rhythm of nature.

During this time, my research led me to something unexpected — a Michelin-starred restaurant in Valencia that shared the same heartbeat.

A Restaurant That Speaks My Language

Where fine dining and sustainability meet

That restaurant was Lienzo, led by the talented chef María José Martínez. Her culinary philosophy immediately resonated with me: creative, rooted in nature, and passionately devoted to bees and their products. Honey, pollen, propolis — every ingredient transformed into a work of art on the plate.

I knew I had to experience it.

So, for my husband’s birthday, I surprised him with a menu at Lienzo — and surprised the chef with a Fine Art Print of Bountiful Supplies, featuring a bee resting on a radiant pink organic form against a bright yellow background.

From a dinner gift to a long-awaited collaboration

After that evening, we stayed in touch. The idea of bringing Bee Vibrant into the restaurant’s artistic world felt so natural, yet I knew patience was needed — Lienzo’s exhibition calendar was fully booked.

We can get you in earlier.

Months passed, and I continued painting in my studio, preparing for my debut exhibition at the cultural center in Cabanyal, Vibrant Valencia.

Then, eight months later, María José reached out again — with wonderful news:

“We can get you in earlier. Let’s meet up!”

The Exhibition: Bee Vibrant at Lienzo

Lienzo’s kitchen tells stories through taste; my art does so through light and texture.

A celebration of life, color, and craftsmanship

Now, from November 2025 to May 2026, fourteen of my original mixed-media paintings bring warmth and texture to the walls of Lienzo. The collection moves between abstraction and semi-realism — sunlight melting into gold, delicate honeycombs merging with flowing organic forms.

The Taste of Colour

Just like the dishes crafted in Lienzo’s kitchen, each piece is built in layers: acrylics, sand, collage, airbrush, and oil intertwine to create depth and luminosity.

Together, the paintings and the culinary creations form a multi-sensory dialogue — a celebration of bees, color, and the beauty of natural cycles.

A Personal Milestone

Seeing my work in such a renowned place feels like a full circle — from that first dinner where admiration turned into inspiration, to now sharing space with an artist of another discipline.

Bee Vibrant at Lienzo is more than an exhibition; it’s an invitation to look closer, to taste, see, and feel how deeply connected we are to the natural world.

If you’re in Valencia, I invite you to visit Lienzo and experience this harmony between art and cuisine for yourself — and perhaps leave a little more inspired by the bees that make it all possible.

Newest Originals - the paint is still wet

The plan was to create two bigger pieces for the exhibition — still connected to Bee Vibrant, but also opening a bridge toward future paintings.

You’ll still find my signature hexagons, symbolizing the natural cycle and pollination.

Symphony and Dance

But now also little butterflies, blooming flowers, and even musical notes. I felt like a child again while learning to draw the treble clef.
