2025 Reflections & Looking Ahead to 2026

2025 Reflections & Looking Ahead to 2026

From studio milestones to motherhood — and a first glimpse into what’s coming in 2026.

✨ Three months married… and only a few days away from meeting our little girl. ✨

It feels surreal to write this. Today marks three months since our wedding and since officially calling myself Mrs. Flinterhoff. Now we’re counting down the final days until our daughter joins us. 🎄💕

2025 changed everything and 2026 will bring change, growth, and challenges I can’t fully predict yet.

I’ll be honest: I feel a mix of excitement and nervousness about balancing motherhood and running my art business. But I trust the process. Step by step, I’ll find my rhythm — just as I have this year.

I’ll be taking six weeks of maternity leave and will slowly ease back into work around mid-February.

But let me take you step by step trough my recap and plans for 2026.

A New Beginning

In January, I moved into my studio, immersed myself in new artworks, and started planning our September wedding. Just three weeks after officially opening the studio, I found out I was pregnant.

Exhibition

Like a Full Circle

Alongside all of this, I had my debut local exhibition in Cabanyal — the neighborhood where everything began back in 2019: where I met my future husband and fell in love with Valencia.

A Precious Wait

After waiting for this little soul for quite a long time, feeling her grow inside me has been one of the most grounding and precious experiences of my life. Even the intense Valencian summer, sleepless nights, and the usual pregnancy challenges couldn’t take away the joy.

Exhibition

Bee Vibrant at Lienzo

To close the year with a true milestone, my Bee Vibrant collection is now exhibited at the Michelin-starred Restaurante Lienzo, featuring 14 original works celebrating nature and its fragile rhythms. 🍯✨

Our Christmas Bauble — and the Greatest Gift

Our wedding here in Valencia, surrounded by a small circle of loved ones, already felt like the cherry on top. And now this year ends with the greatest gift of all — our daughter.

What Comes 2026 — Growing Through Collaboration

As I slowly return to work in mid-February, I want to shape 2026 more intentionally — with fewer scattered ideas and more meaningful depth.

In 2026, I want to further expand my network and collaborations — especially with:

  • Nature & animal protection NGOs
  • Galleries
  • Interior designers and studios who value sustainability, storytelling, and emotional spaces

Meaningful Collaborations

My long-term goal is to create artworks and projects that don’t just decorate walls, but actively contribute to awareness, protection, and connection with nature.

💬 If you have ideas, work with organizations in this field, or know potential partners — I’d truly love to connect.

Feel free to reach out anytime. Meaningful projects often start quietly.

My Art on Paddleboard by IFach Woodworks

Back in October, I teased an upcoming collaboration with the Valencian company IFach Woodworks — and in December, I visited their workshop in Masanassa to see the custom-made paddleboard in person.

Together, we discussed the placement of the first design from my Patacona Sunrise artwork. We also recorded an interview during my visit, which I’ll be editing and publishing soon.

For spring 2026, as the season begins, we’re planning a joint event - blending craftsmanship, movement, nature, and art in a very organic way.

Creative Sundays & Studio Experiences

The next Creative Sunday is already planned for February and March 22nd. These sessions will continue to be about slowing down, reconnecting with creativity, and creating space for conversation and presence — something I value even more as I step into motherhood.

Further formats and studio dates will follow gradually, aligned with my new rhythm.

Creating New Painting Projects

Some moments in life are so meaningful that they deserve to be remembered in a way that goes beyond photographs.

In 2026, I want to expand my focus on deeply personal painting projects — artworks created to honor life’s most emotional milestones:

  • Weddings
  • Pregnancy
  • Birth

These works are intended as unique, emotional gifts — for partners, families, or loved ones — capturing not just how a moment looked, but how it felt.

Commissioned Artwork or Live Event Painting

Based on a photograph of a couple, an expectant mother, or a meaningful moment, I create original mixed media paintings — layered, symbolic, and deeply personal.

Each artwork can be customized through painting and collage elements such as:

  • Favorite flowers or the wedding bouquet
  • Personal color palettes
  • Meaningful dates or words
  • Vows, handwritten notes, or song lyrics
  • Subtle symbols, textures, or musical notes

In selected cases, live event painting is also possible — capturing the atmosphere of a wedding or celebration in real time.

Exploring a Pregnancy Series

Alongside commissioned works, I’m also considering a personal pregnancy-inspired series — exploring themes of transformation, growth, protection, and connection to nature.

This series would move between abstraction and semi-realism, reflecting the quiet strength and beauty of this life phase.

As with many projects, this is still unfolding — organically, step by step.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for following my journey — the art, the colors, the exhibitions, the quiet studio days, and now this new chapter. Your support means more than you know. 💛

Wishing you wonderful holidays and a warm, hopeful start into the new year.

Here’s to new beginnings — and to whatever magic 2026 will bring. ✨
